A comparable used listing is around A$660 at current exchange rates from the €400 asking seen in Europe, while the model’s Australia RRP was A$1,199. At A$900, you’re paying a solid chunk below new, but not enough to call it a bargain.
That still makes sense for a like new unit, because the DAC-R is well-regarded for its lively, musical sound and strong performance on non-USB inputs.
