At A$1,600, the asking price looks ambitious versus the typical used market: comparable overseas asks cluster around roughly A$1,050–A$1,250 per pair when you convert the common Euro pricing, so this sits above the usual range unless the pair is unusually clean, fully original, and presentation-grade.
That said, this is the sort of speaker vintage fans chase for its efficient, big-scale, single-driver character and distinctive Philips house sound, and well-kept examples can be hard to replace once gone. A clean, original pair with intact drivers, correct baffles, and any provenance or matching accessories could still make sense for the right buyer, but I’d want proof of driver health and cabinet condition before paying top-end money.
