Tonewinner AT-300 AV Processor I brought this recently from another member ($900) as I was interested to try it out. It definitely has loads of configuration options supporting 9.3.4, 7.3.6 and everything in between. Mine was a 4.1.2 setup (no centre) and its the best I have heard on my go to test disc Tron Legacy. I was using it with a full active monitor setup via balanced and it did sound really good. The auto-eq with mic was great for the all the channels except the stereo front that I preferred on bypass. If you want a processor that supports manual PEQ controls with REW this process
A$600 is a strong deal against your AUD comps: it sits well below the A$857 25th percentile and roughly A$515 under the A$1,115 median, so this is priced like a bargain rather than a merely fair buy. Against a small sample, that’s still enough to say the asking price is clearly on the attractive side for this model.
The AT-300 is a serious value play if you want a feature-rich processor without paying current used-market money; Tonewinner gear is generally aimed at buyers who want a lot of decoding and processing for the outlay, not just a basic HDMI switcher. At this price, the main buy-side checks are practical: confirm all channels work, HDMI handshakes are stable, the remote and firmware are included, and the unit hasn’t been stressed in a hot rack.

Tonewinner traces its roots to China, where a precursor company emerged in 1992 under founder Li Zhi, who pioneered audio circuit board innovations. Guangzhou Tonewinner Electronics Co., Ltd. was formally established in 1999 in the Pearl River Delta, leveraging a vast 10,000-square-meter facility and advanced production lines. For over three decades, it has honed expertise as a leading OEM manufacturer, quietly powering high-end components for global brands like Advance Paris, Nuforce, and Emotiva.
The brand excels in amplifiers, including multi-channel power amps and AV preamplifiers, alongside home theater systems, karaoke integrated audio, speakers, and Dolby Atmos-enabled AVRs and soundbars. Its portfolio emphasizes hi-fi power amplifiers—such as Class A two-channel models—and Bluetooth speakers, all produced with robotic precision, components from China, Taiwan, Japan, and the US, under ISO 9001 standards.
Positioned as a mid-tier powerhouse, Tonewinner delivers high-end performance at competitive prices, earning accolades like nine consecutive "most acclaimed product" wins at domestic exhibitions and early certifications for Dolby Atmos and HDMI. Exported to dozens of countries, it commands respect among savvy buyers seeking value-driven home cinema and hi-fi excellence from China's premier audio factory.
