Seller's Description

Nordost Bnc/bnc digital 1.5m Digital Cable I got the cable from ebay. It is 1.5m BNC - BNC digital cable (single cable). I dont have a pair of interconnect jacks with it. I have used the cable as my current DAC does not have a BNC input. I dont want to change any equipment at the moment so a BNC digital cable is surplus. Pick up from Bentleigh 3204. Thanks for watching. Condition: Used good Payment Method: Cash, bank transfer Region/State: (VIC) Victoria/Australia By Ngoc 0 Comments   AUD $190 Date: May 12, 20241 yr

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

The listing notes “AUD” condition, which in used-audio slang usually means the seller hasn’t verified the cable’s state beyond “looks okay,” so the A$190 asking price carries a bit of uncertainty. Without the exact Nordost model name (e.g., White Laurel, Blue Heaven, Valhalla 2), benchmarking is hard, but 1.5m interconnects from Nordost’s mid-tier lines typically trade used between A$140 and A$260. At A$190, this sits near the median—fair, not a bargain, but not ambitious either.

Nordost interconnects are well-regarded for their low-loss, noise-rejecting design and transparent sound that preserves detail without adding coloration. If this is from a well-loved line like White Laurel or Blue Heaven, it’s a solid upgrade over generic cables, especially if the seller confirms no scratch marks, bent pins, or connector wear. The only upside here would be if it’s original-owner, includes original packaging, or is a rare early version—but with no accessories or condition photos listed, treat A$190 as a fair entry point for a known performer, not a clear win.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About Nordost

Nordost, an American high-end audio brand, traces its origins to 1991 when it was founded in Massachusetts, just outside Boston. From the outset, the company committed to designing, engineering, and manufacturing all products exclusively in the United States, drawing on aerospace-derived technologies like conductor solutions to pioneer its signature flat cable geometry. This Northeast-rooted heritage—reflected even in the brand's name, meaning "northeast" in Scandinavian languages—has defined Nordost as a beacon of innovation in signal preservation for over three decades.

The brand specializes in premium hi-fi cables and accessories, including speaker cables, interconnects, digital cables, power cords, and video transmission lines. Nordost employs advanced techniques such as Micro Mono-Filament construction and mechanically tuned lengths to minimize distortion and maximize fidelity. Beyond cables, its lineup extends to power distribution systems, grounding solutions, and resonance control devices, forming a comprehensive ecosystem that enhances the entire audio chain without venturing into amplifiers, speakers, or turntables.

Renowned among audiophiles worldwide, Nordost occupies a premium niche in the high-end market, celebrated for revolutionary designs that deliver unadulterated sound. From accessible Leif series entry points to exotic Valhalla and Odin flagships, its products command respect in over 60 countries, positioning the brand as a go-to for discerning buyers seeking boundary-pushing performance and uncompromising quality.
