Seller's Description

Apple TV A1469 (3rd Gen, RevA) Streamer Apple TV (3rd generation, Rev A) Model number: A1469     Bought this from a SNA member a few years ago, has worked perfectly.  Comes with original box, all documentation (this model came with a manual and apple stickers), power cord.  Remote has a small dent in front corner that is not noticeable unless you’re looking for it.    Because the remote is hard to hold and difficult to find, I made a bespoke wooden cradle that improved the ergonomics.  The remote is held in place by blu-tak, so can be removed if you don’t want to use the cradle or need to chan

About Apple

Apple Inc. traces its origins to April 1, 1976, when Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, along with Ronald Wayne, founded the company in the Jobs family garage in Cupertino, California. What began as a modest venture to build personal computers evolved into a tech powerhouse, with early forays into audio via the 2001 launch of iTunes and the iconic iPod portable music player.

In the hi-fi realm, Apple focuses on integrated consumer audio solutions rather than traditional separates like amplifiers, turntables, or DACs. The company is renowned for wireless speakers such as the short-lived iPod Hi-Fi (2006-2007) and the more advanced HomePod series, alongside premium headphones including AirPods and AirPods Max. These products emphasize seamless ecosystem integration, portability, and digital streaming over analog purism.

Apple holds a dominant position in the premium consumer audio market, blending high-end aspirations with mass-market accessibility. While not a staple among traditional hi-fi purists—who often critique its closed ecosystem and past efforts like the iPod Hi-Fi as underwhelming—its products command loyalty for sonic refinement, computational audio processing, and design excellence, positioning it as a mid-to-high-tier contender for savvy buyers prioritizing convenience over boutique esoterica.
