Tannoy HPD 315/8 Studio Monitors The time has come, already that I have to prepare for leaving my biggish house and moving to a retirement home. As a member here has been able to provide me with a much smaller speaker that I like, it is now time to part with my beloved Tannoys. This is the second pair I've owned, these HPds are very close to the sound of the LSU,, better in some ways. This is about what I paid for them here, maybe a bit less, its a bargain price for an outstanding audio experience. Tannoy is the ultimate name in studio monitors ( along with JBL) . I’d want proof of driver originality, surround condition, and any restoration work, but at this level it reads more like a serious buy than a speculative one.
