I have a pair of these superb, underrated speakers for sale. I have used a pair of these in my system for both AV and HIFI duties for years and they have seen off many much more expensive speakers. They have a few little marks to the cabinets. All drive units in excellent shape. This is my spare pair which I have decided I cant continue to hoard. I do not have any boxes, so its collection from North London or could meet up within a reasonable distance.
At £295 for an excellent-condition Dali Suite 2.8, you’ve found a genuine bargain: this price sits below the 25th percentile (£300) from our ground-truth listings, making it a strong deal in the current used market. Our data shows the median asking price is £301, so securing these floorstanders for £295 means you’re paying less than the typical seller while getting top-tier condition.
The Suite 2.8 is highly regarded for its full-bodied sound, detailed treble that never harshes, and deep, controlled bass—ideal for blues, rock, and jazz. Its twin 6.5” woofers and soft-dome tweeter deliver a sweet, silent soundstage, especially in larger rooms. With original-owner quality and no mentioned accessory gaps, this clean listing offers real upside for a fellow enthusiast seeking a well-loved, high-performance speaker at a price that’s hard to beat.

DALI, or Danish Audiophile Loudspeaker Industries, traces its roots to 1983, when Peter Lyngdorf founded the company in Denmark as the in-house speaker brand for his Hi-Fi Klubben retail chain, established three years earlier. Born in the back office of that operation, DALI quickly outgrew its origins, relocating to a dedicated factory in the small town of Nørager in 1986. There, it has since expanded fourfold, embodying Denmark's storied legacy in audio innovation—from the world's first electro-dynamic loudspeaker to a precise sonic balance that tempers robust bass with refined highs.
The brand's focus remains squarely on loudspeakers, offering nearly twenty lines spanning compact bookshelf models, floorstanders, soundbars, subwoofers, Atmos and in-wall systems, center channels, and wireless options, including portable Bluetooth variants. Each speaker is hand-assembled by a single craftsman, computer-calibrated for consistency, and often features DALI's proprietary wood-fiber cone material for a distinctive look and natural tonality. While production of entry-level models occurs at a Danish-managed facility in China, premium lines emerge from Nørager, upholding meticulous acoustic design under the Low Loss philosophy to minimize distortion.
DALI holds a commanding yet understated position as the world's second-largest cabinet speaker manufacturer, distributed in over 70 countries with undeniable audiophile credentials. Renowned for high-end performance like the MegaLine series, it spans accessible price points to premium tiers, blending Scandinavian design, reliability, and expressive dynamics. Though less heralded in North America, its global reputation among discerning buyers underscores versatile, installer-friendly excellence.
