Seller's Description

I’m getting back into the audio hobby in a big way. It’s been a lifetime thing for me—I’ve even built my own gear before—so I really like to know how my systems work. I picked this remote up with a Linn Classik Movie unit I bought recently. I eventually realized it’s actually the remote for the regular Linn Classik (the Music/CD version), but it was still a huge help to me.It let me go "behind the scenes" into the setup menus and gave me the options to get everything dialed in just right.See It In Action!I didn't just take pictures—I made a short video of this remote actually working. You can watch me use it to run a Linn integrated amp through some speakers. It’s snappy, the signal is strong, and every button I tried worked perfectly. The DetailsIf you have the Linn Classik Music (the one with the CD player), this is the remote you’ve been looking for. It’s the "brain" of that system. You need it to get into the deep settings and run your CD player the right way.Condition: I’d say it’s a 7 or 8 out of 10. I took a lot of photos, so take a look. It’s clean and in good shape.Battery Compartment: I included a photo of the inside so you can see it's perfectly clean. No leaks and no corrosion on the springs.Batteries Included: I’m throwing in a fresh set of batteries with it, so you can get it going right out of the box.Compatibility: This is a genuine Linn remote for the Classik Music and KNEKT systems. Why I’m SellingI have a big Linn Klout powerhouse amp on the way and I’m moving to a pure passive setup, so I just don't need this anymore. I'm selling this to help fund the rest of my powerhouse amp hunt. I want to get it to someone who needs a real Linn remote to make their system 100% again.Shipping & TermsI’m a hobbyist, not a store, but I know how to pack stuff so it doesn't get smashed. I’ll wrap this up safe and get it to you fast.Shipping: UPS Ground.Terms: Sold As-Is with no returns. Check the video and the photos—this is a solid, working remote.

About Linn

Linn Products: Brand Overview

Linn Products was founded in 1973 by Scottish engineer Ivor Tiefenbrun in Glasgow as a vehicle to manufacture the Sondek LP12 turntable, which would become the company's most iconic product and a cornerstone of high-fidelity audio. The brand emerged during the golden era of British hi-fi with a revolutionary "source first" philosophy—challenging the prevailing industry belief that loudspeakers mattered most by demonstrating that superior sound quality begins with the audio source. This foundational principle has guided the company's engineering ethos for over five decades.

Linn's product portfolio spans the complete hi-fi chain, from turntables and tonearms to preamplifiers, power amplifiers, and loudspeakers. The company introduced the world's first microprocessor-controlled preamplifier and power amplifier in 1985 (the LK1 and LK2), establishing itself as an electronics specialist. From 2007 onward, Linn pivoted toward digital music streaming, becoming an early adopter of network-based audio playback supporting studio master-quality recordings at 24-bit/192 kHz resolution, and discontinued CD player production in 2009 to focus on this strategic direction.

Linn occupies the high-end segment of the audio market, commanding respect among discerning audiophiles and collectors for its uncompromising engineering approach and longevity. The brand's reputation rests on meticulous product design, acoustic isolation principles, and a commitment to eliminating weak links in the signal chain—a philosophy that has made Linn one of the most influential manufacturers in hi-fi history and a benchmark for quality-focused audio engineering.
