This is the Monoprice Monolith™ M2100X which features high quality, class AB amplification and is the perfect amplifier to upgrade your amps in a receiver or handle height/effects channels in a larger system, or to be the backbone of a home theater system in smaller rooms. The M2100 is a two‑channel power amplifier that delivers 90 watts per channel into 8Ω (all channels driven). It combines power and performance to deliver high quality music or home theater sound quality in any application. It's also practically brand new and still has all the original packing and boxes, manual and cord.2 Channels of Amplification90 Watts Per Channel into 8ΩRCA InputsXLR Inputs3RU HeightClass AB AmplificationService History: No service records were included from the prior owner. This is a fair ask: at USD 200, it sits right on the median of the recent comparable USD listings, so there’s no premium here and no obvious bargain premium either. For a Monolith amp/accessory bundle, that’s a reasonable place to be if it’s complete and working as expected.
What makes it worth a look is the Monolith line’s solid reputation for stout build quality and strong value in multi-channel setups, especially if you need practical cabling and accessories in one shot. At this price, I’d mainly confirm completeness, clean cosmetic condition, and that there’s no sign of abuse or missing parts; otherwise, it looks like a sensible buy rather than a gamble.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Monolith is the premium audio label of Monoprice, a U.S. consumer-electronics company founded in 2002 in California. The Monolith sub-brand appeared in 2017 and was developed to give Monoprice a more serious hi-fi and home-theater identity, with product development led by Hobie Sechrest. It is not an old-school heritage marque, but a modern house brand built on Monoprice’s direct-to-consumer model.
The range is broad and performance-oriented, including headphone amplifiers, DACs, preamps, power amplifiers, AV processors, subwoofers, loudspeakers, and some accessories. Monolith products are also known for collaborations with audio engineers and for using technologies such as THX AAA amplification and Dirac processing in selected models. The lineup tends to emphasize measured performance and feature density rather than ornate industrial design.
In the market, Monolith sits in the value-focused end of the serious-audio segment: above budget entry-level gear, but usually below traditional high-end brands on price. Its reputation is strongest among buyers who want strong specs, credible engineering, and competitive measurements without paying premium-brand margins. It is best understood as an enthusiast-friendly, price-aggressive contender rather than a boutique or collectible label.
