I will lose money on the shipping of this unit to the to the east coast!EXCELLENT APPEARANCE, TOP EXAMPLE IN SOUND!You will be hard pressed to find this unit in better condition from anyone else, anywhere!PLEASE EXAMINE MY FEEDBACK!What follows are the shipping parameters:Please Note: This following shipping timetable is a guideline and not set in stone. Extenuating circumstance from the shipper or from my personal life can sometimes delay shipment. Things like delays due to Covid-19 which impacts staff shortages and supply chains, multiple buys on this platform in a short amount of time for example, 10 items sold in a 7-day period, or the illness of a child or my own illness or a fire or flood or an earthquake. I understand that most of the latter types of these occurrences are rare. But, even Huge insurance companies allow for Force Majeure (look it up). And, please understand that I am only one person and if you want the rare vintage item you bought to arrive in the same condition it left me, it will take time to pack it and ship it right! And, if something happens like an extenuating circumstance, it will take a little more time to ship! Thank you for your understanding! So, in general, if bought and paid for Monday through Thursday, I will ship out within 72 hours (business days, not Weekends). If bought Friday, Saturday or Sunday I will ship out no later than the following Wednesday! I don't quickly or sloppily pack and ship. I agonize over picking the proper packing materials and proper boxes which I buy for the item AFTER the item is sold. I have dozens of vintage audio items available for sale and I DO NOT HAVE THEM PACKED AND READY FOR SHIPMENT BEFORE THEY ARE SOLD, I DON'T DO IT LIKE THAT! I AM NOT AMAZON OR A LARGE ONLINE COMPANY, I AM A SOLE PROPRIETOR OF A LARGE COLLECTION OF VINTAGE AUDIO ITEMS THAT MY FAMILY COLLECTED OVER 60 YEARS. When you receive your turntable in the same condition as it left me, you will thank me! Please, look at my feedback regarding Packing and Shipping! Price is Firm! However, the price is Negotiable If you buy 2 or more of my Reverb items concurrently.Ships from San Marcos, CA. Packed safely and securely. I ALWAYS use the (RSS) Reverb Safe Shipping option when shipping an item I have sold in order to protect both you and me, I typically lose money on shipping because of this because RSS costs money. The more rare or valuable an item is, the more it costs to insure! In addition, I don't ship quickly or cheaply. Why sloppily throw a vintage receiver in Excellent condition into a box or poorly wrap it so it gets damaged in transit? I DO NOT DO THAT! I am meticulous with my packaging and I agonize over choosing the proper box that is ideal for each unit. Boxes, especially ones that are the correct dimensions for the item at hand are not always easy to come by. I use high quality double walled electronics boxes especially made for shipping vintage items of this type and if one box in the proper size is unavailable, I may even use TWO single walled corrugated cardboard boxes, putting one box with the unit in it INSIDE another larger box with even more packing material to fully protect the unit and that especially can be costly. So, the Price is Firm! However, the price is Negotiable if you bundle and buy 2 or more of my Reverb items concurrently! Thanks ; )

About Marantz

Marantz originated in the United States, founded in 1953 by Saul Bernard Marantz, a music enthusiast and amateur musician born in Brooklyn in 1911. Dissatisfied with the audio equipment of the era, he crafted the groundbreaking Audio Consolette preamplifier in 1952 from his New York home, selling the first 100 units rapidly and prompting the formal establishment of the company in Woodside, Queens. Though production later shifted to Japan in partnership with manufacturers like Standard Radio in 1966, and the brand evolved through ownership changes including Superscope and eventual integration into larger groups, its heritage remains rooted in American ingenuity and a relentless pursuit of musical fidelity.

The brand excels in high-end audio components, particularly amplifiers, preamplifiers, and integrated systems that defined its golden era. Iconic models like the Model 7 preamplifier (1958), Model 9 power amplifier (1960), and Model 10B tuner (1964) set benchmarks for performance, while later offerings expanded to tuners, receivers, and CD players. Marantz briefly ventured into speakers under designer Ed May in the 1970s but focused primarily on electronics rather than turntables, headphones, DACs, or cables, emphasizing separates renowned for their "Most Musical Sound."

Marantz commands a premium position in the hi-fi market, revered as a high-end pioneer that shaped the audiophile landscape through the 1970s zenith. Today, it blends vintage allure with modern elegance, appealing to discerning buyers who value durability, innovation, and warm, detailed sound signatures over mass-market accessibility.
