Seller's Description

For sale is a fully restored, cleaned, calibrated, and tested 1977 pioneer CT-F8282. These units had fake veneer on them which was removed and was replace with real veneer and covered with a satin clear finish. The cassette mechanism was tore down cleaned lubricated and new belts were installed. The motor speed was adjusted to the proper speed with a test tape. Head alignment was checked and was okay. Tape path was cleaned and demagnetized prior to calibration and testing. The power supply was recapped. All the boards were inspected and re-soldered as necessary. All switches and controls including the record playback switches were cleaned with deoxit. The rca jacks on the rear of the unit were polished and sprayed with deoxit. All the circuits were calibrated with the original service manual. Vu meters, record, playback levels, EQ and bias have all been set. I've been doing audio repairs for 48 years. This will be a great recorder/player for anyone that that uses cassette tapes as their recordings and listening format. I will gladly answer any questions
