Vintage Teac X-3R Reel To Reel Tape Deck in NON-working condition. The good: has a new capstan belt & a new pinch roller tire. When testing play mode, the bad. The capstan DOESN'T WORK. Evidence shows a different capstan motor installed very poorly. The PC board that is in between the motor and main frame PC board gets voltage going into it, but there is NO voltage coming out of it. See all pics carefully. Obviously missing many parts. The RIGHT tensioner activates the spindle motors, just not the capstan motor. YES, I have checked ALL 6 fuses and they are all good. This unit is being sold in S IS non-working condition for parts/repair with NO return/refund. Buy with this in mind. Ships via FedEx Ground to the lower 48 states only. Packed well.
