These speakers were not available in the United States.My Dad acquired these while stationed on Midway Island in the Pacific Ocean in 1968 and had them shipped via the military back to the United States when he left the island in 1970. These are all original and have seen little use. They've been stored in a climate controlled environment for all these years.As die-hard audiophiles will attest, these speakers were not made for powerful output but rather for precision of sound.
