This is a respected old B&W monitor, but the asking price is a bit ambitious against your market anchor: US$672 sits above the US$441 median and well below the US$1,510 75th percentile, so it’s not overpriced in a hard sense, just not a bargain. For a for_parts listing, though, I’d want the number to be closer to the lower quartile unless there’s something unusually complete or desirable here.
The upside is the model itself: DM7-era B&W speakers have a loyal following for their smooth, listenable presentation and strong vintage pedigree. A matched pair is the right format if you’re restoring or salvaging a set, but for_parts means the buyer should assume real risk around drivers, crossovers, surrounds, and cabinet condition. At this price, it’s only attractive if you specifically need these for restoration and can verify exactly what’s working.
