Seller's Description

Up for sale a Neumann NDH 30 Reference-Class Open-Back Mixing & Mastering Studio Headphone! We are an Authorized Dealer of Neumann Products! This item is Brand New / Never Displayed and it comes with the Full Manufacturer's Warranty*. Unit comes in its Original Packing. -NEUMANN NDH 30Reference-class open-back studio headphone for editing, mixing, and mastering. The NDH 30 is a circumaural, open-back headphone with outstanding detail resolution and high-precision stereo imaging with razor-sharp localization. Its linear soundstage and superior transient response recommend it for the most demanding applications such as mixing and mastering. The NDH 30 was developed with the aim of making the reference sound of a Neumann studio monitor setup, perfectly calibrated via MA 1, available everywhere in the form of an easily transportable headphone. At the same time, the NDH 30 forms its own sound reference in terms of headphone reproduction, which has become a key to success with the consumer. Its superior sound characteristics make the NDH 30 the first choice for mixing and mastering. Thanks to its high long-term comfort, it is just as excellently suited to high-precision editing. Its high-quality construction of spring steel and aluminum as well as its pleasant handling properties are largely the same as those of the NDH 20. However, the NDH 30 is an open-back headphone, which means that its dynamic 38 mm transducers work as acoustic dipoles. This allows their highly refined sound characteristics to unfold optimally: extremely fast transient response, dry bass, uncolored mids and transparent highs. In other words, the NDH 30 has no sound coloration, but reproduces the signal 1:1.-FEATURES:- Linear sound, similar to a perfectly calibrated Neumann loudspeaker system- High-resolution stereo panorama with precise localization- Transparent, detailed sound image, ideal for mixing & mastering- Excellent wearing comfort, easy to transport-SPECIFICATIONS:Frequency Range : 12 ... 34,000 HzAcoustic principle : Dynamic openWearing style : HeadbandFoldable : YesEar coupling : CircumauralTransducer diameter : 38 mmTransducer magnet : NeodymiumTransducer protection : Cloth covered grilleNominal Impedance : 120 OhmsSensitivity at 1 kHz/1 Vrms : 104 dB SPLMax input power handling : 1000 mWContinuous input power handling : 200 mWTHD at 1 kHz and 100 dB SPL : <0.03%Cable entry : Single sided, right ear cupConnectivity : 3.5 mm (1/8") TRS jack plug (straight), adapter for 6.3 mm (1/4")Cable length : 3.0 m (10')Ear cup contact pressure : 5.5-6.8 NWeight excluding cable : 352 gDetachable cable : YesReplaceable earpads : YesColours - headband : RAL 9006 White Aluminium / RAL 7016 Anthracite GreyColours - ear cups : RAL 9006 White AluminiumMaterials - headband : Spring steel strip, aluminium and plastic fittings, plastic trimmingMaterials - ear cups : AluminiumMaterials - ear pads : Cloth covered foamPacked dimensions (height x width x depth) : 245 x 255 x 84 mmPacked weight : 0.97 kgOperating Conditions : +5° C to +45° C, <90% RH; non condensingTransport/Storage Conditions : -15° C to +70° C; <90% RH; non condensingPacked cube : 0.005 m³-*The full manufacturer's warranty is only valid through us.All our items are fully verified by our pro technician and/or adjusted by our pro luthier before being very carefully packed by our pro service team here at the shop prior to shipment, buy with confidence!---------------------------------------------------------------------Canadian customers must pay any applicable sales taxes. About Neumann

Neumann traces its origins to Berlin, Germany, where Georg Neumann and Erich Rickmann founded the company in 1928. Initially focused on pioneering condenser microphones, such as the groundbreaking CMV 3—nicknamed "The Bottle"—Neumann quickly established itself as an innovator amid the early days of professional audio. Despite wartime disruptions that split production and led to the creation of Microtech Gefell, Georg Neumann rebuilt in post-war Berlin, launching the iconic U 47 tube-condenser microphone, which solidified the brand's legacy in recording history.

The brand specializes in professional recording equipment, renowned for its high-end condenser microphones like the U 47, U 67, and U 87, which dominate studios worldwide. Beyond mics, Neumann produces studio monitors, headphones, preamplifiers, audio interfaces such as the recent MT 48, and historically excelled in cutting lathes for mastering. This pro-audio emphasis sets it apart from consumer hi-fi categories like amplifiers, turntables, or cables.

Neumann commands an elite position in the market as the gold standard for professional recording, embodying precision engineering and unmatched fidelity prized by engineers and producers. Its products grace legendary sessions, blending vintage reverence with modern reliability, making it essential for discerning hi-fi enthusiasts seeking studio-grade accuracy rather than mid-tier or boutique consumer gear.
