Offered is „RI 101 MK2“ by Vitus Audio as new device from the category „Fully integrated Amplifier“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 6666709285 ends on 19.11.2026 at 07:18 o'clock.
Vitus’s integrated amps are well regarded for combining serious drive, fine control, and a polished, low-fatigue presentation, so this sits in the “enthusiast” tier rather than the ordinary mid-fi bracket. Against your database, €18,000 is clearly ambitious: it sits well above the 75th percentile of €15,220, versus a median of €9,590, so this is priced at a premium to the recent used market.
That said, if the condition is genuinely clean, this is still the sort of amp people buy to keep long term: authoritative, refined, and capable of making demanding speakers feel properly gripped. The upside here is a strong-condition, likely low-turnover piece from a respected line, so completeness and provenance matter more than usual; if it’s original-owner, with box, remote, and documentation, it carries more appeal.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Vitus Audio emerged from Denmark in 1995, founded by Hans-Ole Vitus Nielsen in Herning, where he serves as owner, designer, and constructor under the AVA Group. Nielsen's vision has propelled the brand since its inception, with the debut products launching in 2003 and 2004, swiftly cementing its place among the world's elite high-end audio marques.
The brand specializes in premium solid-state electronics, excelling in power amplifiers, preamplifiers, integrated amplifiers, and digital-to-analog converters (DACs). Their lineup emphasizes reference-grade performance, prioritizing musicality, transparency, and build quality over mass production, with a focus on modular designs that appeal to discerning audiophiles seeking endgame systems.
Positioned firmly in the ultra-high-end market, Vitus Audio commands reverence for its uncompromised engineering and sonic purity, attracting collectors and enthusiasts who demand the pinnacle of hi-fi reproduction. Far from mid-tier or vintage appeal, it thrives as a niche boutique leader, where innovation meets artisanal precision in a competitive global arena.
