Offered is „Emitter 2 exclusive mit Akku“ by ASR Audio Systeme as second-hand device from the category „Transistor-Fullamp“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 6040907873 ends on 24.11.2026 at 13:55 o'clock.
ASR’s EMITTER integrated has a strong reputation for current delivery, control, and a very “big amp” presentation, and this €11,000 ask lands above the recent market median of €6,477 and even above the €10,439 75th percentile. That makes it ambitious, not a bargain, though it is not wildly out of line for a desirable example if the listing is exceptionally complete or well cared for.
For a buyer, the appeal is the EMITTER’s no-compromise execution: authoritative bass, effortless drive, and the kind of grip that makes difficult speakers wake up without sounding forced. At this level, the main upside is condition, originality, service history, and included extras; if it is clean, unmodified, and comes from a careful owner, it can still be a serious long-term buy. I would only push back if there is any uncertainty around age-related maintenance, as value here depends heavily on proven health and provenance.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
ASR Audio Systems, based in Herborn, Germany, traces its roots to 1980 when Friedrich Schäfer founded the company, initially as ASR Audio Systeme Friedrich Schäfer. Schäfer, who remains the owner and chief designer, established the brand with a focus on meticulous engineering from the outset. By 1995, it had solidified under its current name, building a heritage of handcrafted components that prioritize sonic purity and longevity.
The brand specializes in high-end amplifiers, including iconic models like the Emitter I and II, which continue to anchor its catalog decades later. ASR's lineup emphasizes power amplifiers and integrated solutions known for their robust construction and dynamic performance, eschewing broader categories such as speakers, turntables, DACs, headphones, or cables.
ASR holds a revered position in the high-end hi-fi market as a niche boutique manufacturer, celebrated among audiophiles for exceptional sound characteristics and technical excellence. Its products command loyalty from discerning buyers seeking uncolored, impactful reproduction, often drawing comparisons to top-tier systems in showrooms worldwide.
