Offered is „Gauder Akustik DARC 200 DARC200 MK2 High End Standlautsprecher in schwarz Demo“ by Gauder Akustik as exhibit from the category „Standing Speaker“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 1999028324 ends on 17.12.2026 at 06:16 o'clock.
Are you really getting DARC 200 MK2 value here, or is this price trying to pass off a demo piece as a collector-grade sale? Against your own market data, €58,999 is not just above the median €6,975 and 75th percentile €19,321—it is far beyond the typical used band, so this reads as extremely ambitious rather than fair pricing.
That said, this is a serious high-end floorstander, and the appeal is the usual one: big-scale authority, low-end grip, and the kind of effortless dynamics and image stability that make well-sorted German high-end speakers memorable. If the demo status means light use, complete packing, and documented condition, that helps, but at €58,999 the buyer should be getting exceptional provenance, full accessories, and a very strong reason not to wait for a better-priced pair.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Gauder Akustik traces its roots to 1997, when Dr. Roland Gauder and Achim Knapp founded the loudspeaker manufactory in Renningen, near Stuttgart, Germany. Gauder, who held rights to the historic Isophon brand—established in 1929 and renowned for diverse loudspeaker production before its sale to Bosch in the 1980s—revived his vision under this new name. Rooted in physics-based research and a commitment to pure music reproduction, the company embodies German engineering precision from its inception.
The brand specializes exclusively in high-end loudspeakers, handcrafted in their Renningen facility with rigorous measurement and listening tests for each pair. Their lineup spans five series—Arcona, Capello, Elargo, Berlina, and DARC—encompassing 25 models including standmounts, floorstanders, and center channels. Signature technologies like ribbed aluminum cabinets to eliminate resonance, high-pass filtering, Bass Extension, TDC, symmetrical crossovers, and premium drivers such as ceramic or diamond units define their designs, delivering exceptional impulse response and deep, punchy bass.
Positioned firmly in the high-end market, Gauder Akustik commands respect among discerning audiophiles for its innovative, no-compromise approach. While demanding substantial amplification to unleash their dynamic potential, these speakers earn acclaim for uncolored, precise sound in elite circles, blending boutique craftsmanship with cutting-edge physics for those seeking reference-level performance.
