Opera-Consonance, also marketed as Opera Audio, is a Chinese hi-fi brand founded in 1994 in Beijing by Shi Hui Liu, who is also identified as the company’s chief designer and owner. It is one of the earlier international high-end audio manufacturers to emerge from China, and the brand has long emphasized original design and in-house manufacturing.

Its product range is broad and centered on traditional audiophile components: amplifiers, preamps, CD players and DACs, turntables, loudspeakers, and related accessories. The brand has been especially visible in analogue and tube-oriented gear, including turntable systems and valve amplification, alongside digital source components and speaker designs.

In the market, Opera-Consonance sits in the high-end but still boutique tier rather than the ultra-luxury mainstream. It is better known among experienced audiophiles than casual buyers, with a reputation for ambitious industrial design, careful fit and finish, and strong value relative to more established Western rivals. In the U.S. and other Western markets, it remains a niche brand with a cult following rather than a household name.
