At £10,000, this sits clearly above the typical used market: versus a £2,984 median and £6,699 75th percentile, it’s an ambitious asking price rather than a bargain. It’s only really defensible if the unit is exceptionally well cared for, boxed, and comes with the full original setup; otherwise there’s a lot of room for negotiation.
That said, the Statement NG is a serious streamer/server and a strong performer for a reference digital front end, with the 4TB storage adding practical value for a large local library. In excellent condition, it’s the sort of component that can anchor a system for years, but at this level I’d want to see proof of provenance, included accessories, and confirmation that everything is current and fully functioning before paying near ask.
