Seller's Description

shipping will be from Ukraine - ( WorldWide free shiping! ) trades on your offers or any offersTechnically 5++Cosmetically 5-After trying many experiments with ear pads on these ears, I ended up putting ear pads from Dekoni on them (costing $95 hybrid), which are primarily for Audeze headphones., which had a very positive effect on the sound of these ears for the better! It looks a little crooked, but there is sound here! The price includes a custom 6.3 cable, which looks very nice and improves the sound more than a simple complete one., headphones, filters for changing the sound (which speakers are very famous for), and a microphone.I am the second owner! The headphones are about 2 years old!The original box was a simple cardboard one, so the previous owner did not keep it!My impressions:The headphones are very similar in sound to 500 hi-fimens, but of course they are a head taller in sound and expansion, especially! Very detailed! The mids are much more forward than in any headphones I've heard so far!The bass is fast and controlled, not very punchy like in Fostex or Denon (they play rock, metal interestingly... here about detailing)))!The treble doesn't cut, doesn't squeak, is detailed and doesn't strain! The stage is medium-sized, there is air and holography construction!Due to the closed design, in some songs they can hit quite well, it all depends on the track!Very, very interesting sound presentation (I don't even know how to explain it, you have to hear it)!Vocals and orchestras play well, jazz... because the mids here are extremely clean, which you can hear right away from the first seconds! Many genres are played well that closed ears can't play well (somehow)! They can rock hahaha! (in the reviews of Meddoc it turns out that the best portable for rock, if used with Cord Hugo 2)!In short, very interesting ears for those who really want to listen to some super new presentation (I guarantee that such a punchy and clean midrange, in closed ears!, you,. have not heard yet)!Very detailed as for closed ears (probably because they are planar)!

About Drop

Drop originated as Massdrop in San Francisco in 2012, pioneering a community-driven model that aggregated enthusiast demand to source and develop exclusive products directly from manufacturers. By bypassing traditional retail chains, it built a loyal following of over 7 million members through limited-time "drops" of unique gear, earning acclaim for delivering hard-to-find items at competitive prices. The brand rebranded to Drop in 2019, expanding into its own designs like the Drop SHIFT mechanical keyboard and wireless headphones, often in collaboration with names such as Sennheiser for audiophile-grade audio.

In the hi-fi realm, Drop specialized in headphones, DACs, amplifiers, and cables, alongside mechanical keyboards and gaming peripherals, with audio as a flagship category. Its approach emphasized user feedback to refine products, yielding sought-after collabs like the Massdrop x Sennheiser line, blending accessibility with performance for enthusiasts.

Drop held a niche position as a disruptor in the mid-tier market, appealing to savvy buyers seeking value-driven, community-vetted hi-fi without high-end premiums. Acquired by Corsair in 2023, it shifted toward gaming hardware before shuttering its core operations in March 2025, marking the end of an era for direct-to-consumer audio innovation.
