Linn LP12 Turntable and Tonearm Package My very loved Linn LP12/Ittok/Dynavector DV-xx2 Mk2. Bought new many years ago in an earlier form (Valhalla/Asak etc), but has had a number of upgrades since. A Cirkus kit was fitted about 15 years ago, but in 2017 Andrew Coles at Hifi Restorations did a major upgrade fitting a Keel sub-chassis, new plinth, arm board and lid, Trampolin2 base, Linn T-Kable and Dynavector DV-xx2 Mk2 cartridge. That said, this is still a beloved deck for good reason: the LP12 is prized for its upgrade path, musical timing, and the way it can scale with a serious arm, cartridge, and phono stage. If this one is clean, serviced, and includes the key setup pieces, it can be a rewarding long-term buy. At A$4,000, I’d want clear detail on exact configuration, service history, and any upgrades, because on this model the value lives in the parts and the maintenance as much as the badge.
