Typical used FE206 driver pricing I can find clusters much lower, with individual vintage pairs and listings often landing around the equivalent of roughly €150–€300 depending on version and condition, while current new FE206NV2 pricing is about €300+ per pair.
That said, the FE206 remains a cult favorite for a reason: very high efficiency, immediate dynamics, and the sort of direct, lively presentation that rewards simple amps and well-designed horns or back-loaded enclosures. If this is a clean, original, well-matched pair with no rubbing voice coils, no cone damage, and ideally included cabinets or accessories, it can still be a worthwhile buy for the right system — but at €700, I’d want something more than just the bare drivers to make the numbers work.
