A used Schiit Saga in like-new condition at A$380 sits in sensible territory for a current, well-regarded preamp; new pricing and the model’s strong reputation make this feel aligned with the market rather than inflated. If it’s the earlier Saga variant, the price is still reasonable as long as it’s complete and functioning properly.
The appeal is the flexibility: passive or active operation, relay-stepped volume, and a very clean, transparent presentation that punches well above its modest cost. It’s a great match for systems that need a simple, low-drama control center, and like-new condition is a real plus on a unit with no obvious age-risk story. If the remote and power supply are included, this is a solid buy.
