Lamm Industries emerged in October 1993 as a U.S.-based high-end audio venture founded by Vladimir Lamm, a Ukrainian-born engineer educated at Lviv Polytechnic Institute. Having gained acclaim in the Soviet Union during the 1980s for innovative low-distortion solid-state designs, Lamm emigrated to America in 1987. After a brief collaboration with Madison Fielding, he established the company in Brooklyn, New York, where it has operated for over three decades under his leadership until his passing in April 2023.
