This is a fair ask, slightly above-median rather than a bargain. Against your database anchor, €90 sits above the €80 median and just over the €85 75th percentile, so it’s priced a touch ambitiously but not out of line for a clean example.
That still makes sense for a well-regarded little speaker: it’s compact, easy to place, and strong on room-filling sound, voice control, and tight integration if the buyer is already in Apple’s ecosystem. In excellent condition, the upside is mainly convenience and low-risk ownership rather than a deep discount, so I’d view this as a sensible buy if you want one now and the listing includes the original power lead and looks genuinely well kept.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Apple Inc. traces its origins to April 1, 1976, when Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, along with Ronald Wayne, founded the company in the Jobs family garage in Cupertino, California. What began as a modest venture to build personal computers evolved into a tech powerhouse, with early forays into audio via the 2001 launch of iTunes and the iconic iPod portable music player.
In the hi-fi realm, Apple focuses on integrated consumer audio solutions rather than traditional separates like amplifiers, turntables, or DACs. The company is renowned for wireless speakers such as the short-lived iPod Hi-Fi (2006-2007) and the more advanced HomePod series, alongside premium headphones including AirPods and AirPods Max. These products emphasize seamless ecosystem integration, portability, and digital streaming over analog purism.
Apple holds a dominant position in the premium consumer audio market, blending high-end aspirations with mass-market accessibility. While not a staple among traditional hi-fi purists—who often critique its closed ecosystem and past efforts like the iPod Hi-Fi as underwhelming—its products command loyalty for sonic refinement, computational audio processing, and design excellence, positioning it as a mid-to-high-tier contender for savvy buyers prioritizing convenience over boutique esoterica.
