Back in '93, these were selling for $795 at the high-end boutique shops. I did the math, and with inflation, you’d be dropping over $1,750.00 today to get this kind of American-made quality! It’s built like a tank with a heavy steel frame and a thick, black-anodized aluminum faceplate. No cheap plastic junk here.The original owner was a great guy, but he had to let it go to get some cash together to fix his car. He was honestly pretty sad to see it walk out the door, so I promised him I’d make sure it went to a home where it would be appreciated.The "Tomlinson Audio" Triple-Test: I don’t just flip boxes; I make sure they work.The Stress Test: I ran this unit through a 48-hour silent stress test to make sure the internals are rock solid and the fuses are clean.The Sound Test: After that, I hooked it up to a pair of Monitor Audio Silver 3i bookshelf speakers, and man, the sound is incredible.
