Condition: Good Payment Method: EFT or cash on pickup Region/State: (NSW) New South Wales

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

Compared with a typical used alternative around A$280, this at A$140 is clearly a strong deal; it lands well below the A$224 25th percentile and looks like bargain territory rather than merely fair. For a clean, very-good-condition pair, that’s a meaningful discount in a market where better-preserved examples can still command much more.

What makes it worth snapping up is the T90’s reputation for crisp, open, highly detailed sound and excellent comfort, which suits buyers who want clarity and air rather than warmth. At this price, the upside is straightforward: you’re getting a respected premium Beyer for well under normal used asking levels, with little reason to overthink it if the pads, cable, and driver balance check out.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About Beyerdynamic

Beyerdynamic traces its roots to 1924 Berlin, where engineer Eugen Beyer founded Elektrotechnische Fabrik Eugen Beyer to produce cinema loudspeakers for the dawn of sound films. Born in St. Petersburg in 1903, Beyer relocated amid the Russian Revolution, pioneering dynamic drivers that defined early audio reproduction. Post-World War II destruction forced a rebuild in Heilbronn in 1948, with his son Fred R. Beyer steering the family-owned firm through decades of innovation until its 2025 acquisition by China's Cosonic Intelligent, marking the end of a century-long German heritage.

The brand excels in headphones and microphones, launching the DT 48 in 1937 as the world's first dynamic headphones—a staple for sound engineers until 2012. It expanded into wireless systems, conference tech, and professional monitoring gear, serving studios, broadcast, film, and now gaming. While early efforts included amplifiers and loudspeakers, Beyerdynamic prioritizes transducers over consumer amps, DACs, turntables, speakers, or cables.

Renowned for durable, reference-grade professional audio, Beyerdynamic occupies a solid mid-to-high-end niche, blending accessible pricing with studio precision that appeals to creators and audiophiles. Its century of milestones—from micing royalty to touring icons—cements a reputation for reliability and sonic purity among discerning hi-fi buyers seeking tools that endure.
