Seller's Description

Raidho Acoustics C3.1 Floorstanding Loudspeakers I purchased these speakers in 2013 from Rob Saunders at Entertaining Environments.  The performance of these speakers is first class.  At the time the RRP was $57,995.   The C3.1 is a full range speaker with bass extending to 35Hz.  The ribbon tweeter is regarded by many as one of the best in the world, while the ceramic bass drivers produce quick and responsive bass.    Although floor standers, they are very compact and will work well even in relatively small rooms.   I have done my best to take photos that show off the deluxe walnut burr finis

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

This A$15,995 asking price is a strong bargain, sitting well below the typical used market where these speakers often appear near A$19,000–A$22,000 and carry an original retail of A$53,999. Even the ex-demo unit listed locally at A$23,897 confirms you’re getting significant upside here.

The C3.2 is a true 3-way design praised for its Raidho Ceramix drivers and ribbon tweeter, delivering exceptional clarity and a frequency range of 30 Hz–50 kHz. It scales beautifully with both high-power amps and small tube sets, making it a versatile, high-performance choice for mid-sized rooms. At this price, it’s a rare opportunity to own a Danish flagship-tier speaker with proven sonic excellence and no material caveats to worry about.

About Raidho Acoustics

Raidho Acoustics is a Danish loudspeaker manufacturer founded in 2001 by Michael Børresen, an engineer-entrepreneur with over two decades of hi-fi industry experience. Based in Pandrup, Denmark, the company became part of the Dantax holding group in 2009, which also owns complementary audio brands including Scansonic HD and Gamut. This heritage connects Raidho to decades of Danish audio craftsmanship, leveraging facilities and expertise originally established through Dantax's acquisition of Scan-Speak in 1977.

Raidho specializes exclusively in premium loudspeakers, with current offerings divided into the high-value X series and the premium TD series. The brand is distinguished by its commitment to in-house manufacturing—a rarity for a company of its size. Drivers, crossovers, and all assembly and testing occur at the Pandrup facility, with every component meticulously hand-built by skilled technicians rather than mass-produced. The company is particularly renowned for its proprietary driver technology, including distinctive planar magnetic tweeters and custom mid-bass drivers featuring neodymium magnets and titanium voice coils.

Raidho occupies the ultra-premium segment of the hi-fi market, positioning itself as a niche boutique brand for discerning audiophiles. The labor-intensive, bespoke production process and meticulous attention to detail are reflected in premium pricing. The brand has cultivated a reputation for innovation and sonic excellence, recently unveiling what it describes as the most significant product launch in its 25-year history at High End Munich 2025, cementing its status among serious collectors and high-end audio enthusiasts.
