Der Werkstonarm der Laufwerke 2800 und 3100 wurde nur sehr geringer Stückzahl einzeln verkauft. Der niederländische Rundfunk betrieb seine Profi-Plattenspieler EMT 930 mit dem All Balance Tonarm. Dieses Exemplar stammt aus den USA und ist in makellosem Zustand.
Im silbernen Tonkopf 550 ein zeitlich passender, mit dem Arm hervorragend harmonierender Tonabnehmer Shure M 75-EJ mit 1,5 bis 3,0 Pond Auflagekraft (Systemkörper M 75 MG mit elliptischer Originalnadel N 75-EJ).
Die Auflagekraft wird bei diesem Tonarm durch eine Feder mit Reiter erzeugt, der sich auf dem Rohr mit Grammskala verschieben lässt.
Der All Balance wurde von Peter Feldmann mit geringstem Tangetialfehler auf das Brett eines Thorens TD 124 moniert und mit Phonokabel samt Abschirmhülse versehen.
Da der Durchmesser der Abschirmhülse ziemlich groß ist, muss bei der Thorens-Zarge ST-104 der Raum unter dem Brett durch Ausfräsen etwas erweitert werden. Eine Arbeit, die Peter Feldmann an meiner Ortofon-Zarge perfekt erledigt hat (Foto). Und die sich lohnt, denn auch andere Neunzoll-Tonarme haben unter dem Brettträger größeren Raumbedarf.

Insist on original sub-platter, armboard, and any period-correct arm included; missing bits can add hundreds in restoration costs.
