That said, this is a solid late-’80s/’90s Pioneer two-head deck with Dolby HX Pro, and it has enough reputation to be worth owning if you want a reliable, good-sounding cassette machine rather than a project. At this price, the upside is mainly condition: original cosmetics, clean heads, smooth transport, and proof of recent service matter a lot.
