The woofer is a bizarre design that doesn't use a surround so there is no maintenance, these will last forever. Extremely impressive, detailed and enjoyable horn tweeter/midrange.These are rated from 33Hz up to 30kHz and they sound like it. The full range is impressive but the bass is so unexpected. These put modern retail speakers up to and over $10,000 to shame.Unfortunately there are some small cosmetic issues from previous owners and a little pitting
This one is notable mainly for the price: A$2,200 is far above the recent Australian benchmark for comparable A-10 K listings, where the median sits at A$171 and even the 75th percentile is only A$184. That makes this asking price not just ambitious but wildly out of line with the typical used market, unless there’s a major listing error or some exceptional bundled value not shown here.
As a unit, the A-10 K is a sensible, straightforward integrated amp: solid for a modest stereo setup, easy to live with, and usually bought for dependable day-to-day performance rather than collector appeal. At this price, though, the important question is not sound quality but what exactly is included and whether the seller has mistyped the figure; for a normal used example, I’d want far more detail before taking it seriously.
