This is absolutely fabulous headphone and still one of the most comfortable and enjoyable flagships I’ve owned.The only reason I’m moving them on is that recently I’ve been busy and find myself using my IEMs much more, so these haven’t been getting the listening time they deserve, so I’m gradually letting go of some of my hi-fi gear.For those who know the Empyrean, they really are something special, incredibly smooth, spacious and musical. And the comfort is honest

It’s not a knockdown bargain, but it is comfortably inside the normal used range and below the upper quartile, which is exactly where a serious buyer wants to see it.

If the pads, headband, and cable are all in good shape, this is the kind of headphone that can make sense used because the core performance is still very high and it tends to age well when cared for. I’d just confirm accessory completeness and pad condition, since those matter more to value than cosmetic wear on a premium model like this.
