US$249 is ambitious versus the recent used market: it’s well above the 75th percentile of US$134 and far over the median US$82, so I’d only call it a buy if the included cartridge, dust cover, and overall condition are genuinely excellent. With that said, this is a respected entry-level belt-drive deck, and the OM10 is a solid, listenable MM cartridge that can make the package more attractive than a bare table.
The appeal here is straightforward: these play cleanly, are easy to live with, and make a sensible first serious turntable when set up correctly. The upside is convenience if it’s complete and truly like-new, because replacing a good cartridge and cover can add real value. I’d still want confirmation that the stylus is healthy, the platter and speed are stable, and the arm bearings feel smooth before paying near-new money.
