That premium is only defensible if the condition is genuinely near mint, the original box/accessories are complete, and the unit has been lightly used.
The upside here is that this is a well-liked headphone amp/DAC combo, so a clean example can make sense for someone who wants a compact all-in-one with a good reputation and avoids buying new. At this price, I’d want confidence on accessories, firmware/USB stability, and no signs of heavy wear; otherwise, there’s not much margin versus typical used market value.
