Offered here is a RARE Elvis Presley RCA 7-EP-45 Record Player in AS IS non-working condition. The RCA Victor logo is on the front plaid cloth (as pictured) and Elvis Presley's signature is famously printed in gold at the top front right corner. The interior has the original gold sticker listing the model number as 7-EP-45. This is the very scarce Model 7-EP-45 version. The record player measures approximately 7 1/4 by 12 by 12 1/2 inches (18.41 x 30.48 x 31.75 cm) and is 110V with a USA plug. The unit powers on and the turntable spins but a record remains suspended (as pictured) and will not drop down onto the platter. (I have included this 45RPM RCA single featuring The Elvis Medley with this record player.) Please study the photos carefully. There are marks, scratches, dings, worn corners and small tears here and there. But it is a rare and unique 70 year-old piece of Elvis Presley memorabilia that is ready to be restored and enjoyed or to provide parts for another restoration project.
Against the recent sold comps, US$315 is above the 75th percentile versus a typical used range centered much lower at US$164 median, with the middle half running from US$113 to US$211. That makes this an ambitious ask, not a fair-market bargain, unless the seller can back it up with unusually strong originality, cosmetics, or provenance.
What keeps it interesting is the crossover appeal: RCA-branded Elvis memorabilia tends to draw both hi-fi buyers and collectors, so a clean, complete example can command a premium. If this is an intact, well-preserved piece with original parts and no missing trim or functional issues, it may still be worth considering for someone who values the presentation and rarity as much as the playback side—but at this price, I’d want compelling condition details before jumping.
