Overview
The OG Diablo release from Gryphon in 2005 is often referred to as the "250", but was in fact simply called the "Diablo" at the time of release. The popularity of the Diablo eventually led Gryphon to expand the next iteration and offer two models - the 120 and 300. The Diablo stood unchanged from it's 2005 release right through to 2015, an obvious credit to the quality and mastery of the design.
In a true dual mono configuration, double-sided military spec copper printed circuit boards are powered by dual Holmgren toroidal transformers, the entire design from input to power stage offers reduced signal paths with minimal internal wiring.
With enough power to drive all but the most demanding speakers on the market, the Diablo can remain the beating heart of your hifi rig while you cycle through speakers, source components and cabling. Each change will be obviously reflected by the Diablo. Truly an end game amplifier for some, Diablo continues to remain an impressive integrated amplifier 20 years on.
This particular unit is fitted with an optional in-built phonostage capable of driving both MM and MC cartridges.
