JJ Electronic traces its roots to 1993, when Jan Jurco founded the company in Čadca, Slovakia, initially as a modest garage operation within the former Tesla factory. Drawing on Eastern Europe's deep vacuum tube heritage from the Tesla era, it rapidly expanded from producing just three tube types in 1994 to over 40 models today, all developed in-house by dedicated engineering teams. What began with 700 square meters of production space has grown to more than 12,000, reflecting a commitment to reviving and refining classic tube manufacturing techniques.

The brand specializes in vacuum tubes—preamp, power, and rectifier varieties—for guitar amplifiers, hi-fi systems, recording studios, and audiophile applications. Since 1999, it has broadened into electrolytic and polypropylene capacitors, plus a select lineup of high-end tube amplifiers, including four power models and two preamps, all globally safety-certified. These components emphasize durability, musicality, and modern quality control in traditionally handcrafted designs.

JJ Electronic holds a strong mid-tier position in the hi-fi and pro audio markets, prized for reliable, affordable tone that rivals pricier alternatives without sacrificing consistency.
