The Vincent SV-500 is a hybrid stereo integrated amplifier that combines the warm, rich tonal characteristics of vacuum tubes with the robust power of solid-state amplification. It delivers 50 watts per channel (at 8 Ohms) and serves as the entry point into Vincent Audio's "Hybridworld".This unit has tube upgrades but I will also Include the original tubes that were installed as well. Great sounding piece! In great shape and has a great look too!
For this Vincent SV-500, the market reads as a buyer’s market right now: at US$900, it sits well below the US$1,085 25th percentile and far under the US$1,269 median of recent USD comparables, so this is a strong deal rather than merely fair. For a used integrated amp, that kind of discount usually leaves room for some condition risk and still preserves value.
The SV-500 is worth a look because Vincent’s integrateds are generally appreciated for a smooth, full-bodied presentation and solid all-in-one practicality, especially if you want a musical amp that can anchor a simple stereo setup. At this price, the main upside is getting into a respected piece of gear below typical market gravity; I’d just confirm basic operation, channel balance, and that any remote, tube complement, or original packaging is included if relevant.
