TEAC Otari MX5050B-II Reel to Reel This is a complete Otari MX5050B mk II 1/4" 2 track tape recorder. It has sat in storage since I bought it fifteen years ago (for a project I never started) and requires a service at a minimum and perhaps even more than that.When I tested it just now I found the following:The pinch roller is stiff to move but can be manually pushed into position for use. The motor spindle is not spinning. I don't know if this is a fault or perhaps it needs a remote control bypass to run???
