Seller's Description

Hej! Mvh Erik

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

This is a buyer’s market listing: at kr 600, it sits well below the model’s original kr 1,590 launch price and also under the recent used asks I can see around kr 700–kr 1,200, so it looks like a strong deal if it’s working properly. That is especially true if the market follows the recent low-end used comps, where even kr 800kr 700 has shown up, making kr 600 an attractive entry point.

The 99 W8.16 is a compact, well-liked sub for modest rooms and music-first systems, with the kind of controlled, punchy bass XTZ is known for rather than sheer home-theater scale. At this price, the upside is simple: if the amp, driver, and controls are healthy, you’re getting a respected little sub for very little money; just confirm it powers up cleanly and that all knobs and auto-on behavior work as they should.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About XTZ

XTZ is a Swedish hi-fi brand, generally identified with XTZ Sound or XTZ Group AB, and it emerged in the late 2000s era as a direct-to-consumer specialist rather than a long-established legacy manufacturer. It is based in Sweden and has been described as a relatively new name in hi-fi, which fits its modern, internet-driven business model.

The brand is best known for loudspeakers and home-theater systems, especially its Cinema and 99-series speakers, but its range has also included amplifiers, subwoofers, CD players, and cables. Reviews and product coverage show a focus on high-output, low-distortion performance, with compact but solid cabinets and a strong emphasis on value for money.

In market terms, XTZ sits in the serious value to upper-midrange zone rather than the true high-end tier. Its reputation is strongest among enthusiasts who want thoughtfully engineered, well-priced gear with a performance-first ethos, especially for speakers and home cinema, rather than luxury branding or collector appeal.
