Excellent condition helps, but at A$6,500 this is well above the recent used benchmark: it sits far past the A$4,319 75th percentile and is roughly triple the A$2,166 median, so I’d call it ambitious rather than fair. For a Manhattan II, that only makes sense if the unit is unusually complete, freshly serviced, or bundled with desirable extras.
That said, it’s a respected high-end DAC/headamp with a serious reputation for resolution, drive, and flexible digital input handling, so the right buyer can still justify paying up if they specifically want this platform. The clean condition is a real plus, but at this level I’d want confirmation of accessories, original packaging, and any service history before treating it as a strong buy.
