For a used Gustard U26 at £800, the price is a bit ambitious rather than a bargain: new pricing has sat around the £800–£850 mark recently, so used units usually need to land clearly lower to look compelling. At £800, you’re paying near-retail money for an unknown-condition box, which leaves very little cushion.
That said, the U26 is well-regarded for clean USB-to-digital conversion, strong clocking, and flexible outputs, so it can still be a smart buy if you specifically need one and it’s complete. I’d want to see proof it powers up cleanly, all outputs work, and it includes the original PSU, remote, and packaging if possible. If it’s truly in excellent condition with extras, it’s usable; otherwise, keep shopping.
