The SL-1200 G is a serious direct-drive deck, and the appeal is easy to understand: superb speed stability, low noise, and the kind of build quality that ages well if it’s been treated properly. In like new condition, the upside is mainly getting a flagship-level Technics without paying new-money premium, especially if it’s complete with dust cover, headshell, and original packaging. For a clean example at this price, I’d consider it a solid enthusiast buy.
