Adcom GFP-555 II Preamp for sale. I tested it on multiple sources and it's working well. It even sounds good with my Denon Low-MC cartridge with the volume halfway up with very little noise.Cosmetically it has some scrapes and scuffs on the top panel and a scrape on the top corner of the faceplate. There is also some tape residue near the volume knob.
For a discontinued preamp like this, timing mostly matters because clean examples tend to disappear rather than get replaced by newer value picks. At US$300, this lands right on the median of the recent market and sits comfortably within the normal band, so it reads as a fair buy rather than a bargain-hunt score.
