Offered is „MCT-450 AC - SACD/ CD Laufwerk“ by McIntosh as second-hand device from the category „Digital Sources (CD/DVD/Streamer...)“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 2950045086 ends on 22.12.2026 at 06:04 o'clock.
The MCT450 is a 2015–2018 legacy model, but its replacement status does not make this listing mistimed: at €3,900, it sits essentially on the supplied market median of €3,973, comfortably within the recent €3,244–€4,013 range. That makes it a fair, properly positioned price rather than a bargain or an ambitious ask.
It remains a desirable transport for a McIntosh system, with SACD/CD playback, twin-laser reading, and balanced, coaxial, optical, and proprietary MCT outputs. It is especially worthwhile if you already own a compatible DAC or McIntosh digital component, since SACD’s higher-resolution output depends on the right connection. The clean “good” condition is encouraging; confirm the remote, packaging, and reliable reading of both CDs and SACDs before buying, as those details matter more than chasing a small discount at this price.
