Der Receiver wurde teilweise überholt und von innen und außen gereinigt. (Relais, Schalter und Potentiometer) Verschiedene Kondensatoren vom Netzteil bzw. dem Verstärker Board, die nicht mehr innerhalb der Toleranzen waren, wurden ausgetauscht. Der Tuner und der Verstärker wurden laut Service Manual eingemessen und getestet. Die Scalenbeleuchtung wurde auf LED's umgerüstet.
Auf der Oberseite sind hinten einige Kratzer zu sehen.

Ambitious ask. €970 is on the high side for a standard SA-700; recent used examples cluster much lower, with working units often seen around the mid-hundreds and even serviced, cosmetically strong pieces generally not needing to push this close unless they’re exceptional. At this level, it only makes sense if the unit has been fully serviced, is genuinely mint, and includes the right accessories or provenance.
What keeps it interesting is the SA-700’s appeal as a chunky, late-70s Technics receiver with real output and a lively, authoritative sound that vintage fans still chase. It’s a good buy when you want a solid, well-built classic and the cosmetics are truly excellent. But at €970, I’d want proof of recent electrical work, stable operation, and complete trim/caps/knobs; otherwise, it’s priced more like a collector piece than a normal used listen-and-enjoy buy.
