A$2,000 is well above what the Venom V10 power cord cost new in its own category, where the matching Venom NR-V10 was listed at about A$770 at the time, so this is not a bargain on a simple resale-versus-retail basis. For a used cord, A$2,000 only makes sense if it’s a materially higher-tier Shunyata variant than the V10 family, or if the listing title is incomplete and the seller is actually offering a much more expensive model.
If it is genuinely a Venom V10, the buy case has to come from sound: Shunyata cords are well regarded for lowering hash, improving dynamics, and keeping the presentation clean without dulling tone. In very good condition, with the right termination and length, it could still be a solid performer in a resolving system, but at this asking price I’d want exact model details, length, plugs, and proof it’s not a mislisted entry-level cord.
