One of the rubber covers/trims on the dust cover is missing. Please check photos for condition. Does not come with hinges. Compared with the obvious alternative at this price point — a clean used deck from a much cheaper tier — US$750 is very ambitious. Against your market anchor, it sits far above the 75th percentile at US$337 and multiples above the median of US$152, so this is not a fair-market buy unless the seller is bundling meaningful extras or the unit is truly exceptional.
The upside is that this is one of Technics’ most respected DJ tables: direct drive, rock-solid speed stability, and the kind of tank-like reliability that made the SL-1200 a standard for good reason. If it’s genuinely very good cosmetically, with a healthy tonearm, clean pitch control, and original parts/accessories intact, it can still be a satisfying long-term keeper — but at this asking price, I’d only bite if it includes a strong cartridge, dust cover, and there’s clear evidence of careful ownership.
