The upside is that you’re buying a modern all-in-one desktop piece: headphone amp, pre-amp, and DAC in one chassis, which is exactly the sort of component that can simplify a serious headphone rig. If it’s genuinely clean, well cared for, and comes with the right accessories, it could still make sense for someone who wants one-box convenience and likes the feature set; just don’t expect it to read as a bargain at this level.
